Carnival & Spring Festivals 2027
JAN 6 – FEB 9, 2027
Mardi Gras / Carnival Season
A compressed 35-day Carnival season this year — the shortest in recent memory — closing with Lundi Gras and Fat Tuesday, the single highest-demand weekend on the New Orleans calendar. Almost every uptown parade route runs right past St. Charles Avenue, making this address one of the best front-row seats in the city. Given the 6–12 month booking curve, this is where to plan earliest.
APR 8–11, 2027
French Quarter Festival
New Orleans’ own free music festival fills the Quarter with brass, and doubles as the lead-in to Jazz Fest booking momentum. A short streetcar ride from the front door.
APR 22–25 & APR 29–MAY 2, 2027
Jazz Fest — Two Weekends
The city’s second-highest annual peak. The lineup drops in December 2026 — we’ll open bookings the moment it’s announced.
Spring convention and sports dates will be added to this page as the city confirms them.
