Louisiana Allstate College Football Kickoff Game
The Sugar Bowl Committee is partnering with Allstate and the Louisiana Office of Tourism to sponsor the game in the world-famous Superdome during Labor Day Weekend. Follow these tips to make the most of your experience and ensure things go smoothly.
1. Get Your Tickets Ready
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and start at $65 for some of the lowest-priced seats (plus applicable taxes and fees).
All tickets and parking passes will be 100% mobile, so make sure to download what you need and have it ready before the game. Personnel will not accept screenshots of tickets. Therefore, ensure your tickets are pulled up and ready to show before entering the checkpoint.
2. Arrive Early
Arrive early to provide plenty of time to park, snag some concessions, and find your seats. You can find more information regarding parking for events at the dome here. The gates open at 4:30 pm, two hours before kickoff. Your ticket will state a recommended entry gate based on your seat.
Everyone must walk through metal detectors and is subject to a bag check. Only clear vinyl bags are allowed and must be 12″ wide, 12″ tall, and 6″ deep or less, with no exceptions. You can also bring a gallon-size Ziploc bag or a small clutch purse measuring 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches or less.
No one will be allowed to exit and reenter the dome, so make sure you don’t forget anything in the car.
3. Have Your Credit Or Debit Card with You
Caesar’s Superdome operates on a cashless basis, so they only accept credit or debit cards. Therefore, don’t forget your cards if you plan to purchase concessions, merchandise, or anything else inside the dome’s walls. If you leave your cards at home but have some cash, you can visit certain stations within the dome to convert your money to VISA gift cards.
These stations are located at the Guest Service desks on levels 100, 200, and 500 at Gates A, C, and G. But you need to have cash on hand to do the conversion; there are no ATMs.
4. Don’t Forget to Book Your Hotel
The Blake Hotel New Orleans offers contemporary stylings with all the comforts of home and is conveniently located near the Superdome. Whether you walk or take the streetcar, you can reach many popular downtown attractions in a matter of minutes. Check out our latest promotions to make the most of your stay in the Big Easy.
